Plant based potluck and Electric Car Show
July 14 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Join us for a plant based potluck and an electric car show at the Cedar Mountain Canteen, 10771 Greenville Hwy, Cedar Mountain, NC 28718. The show is hosted by Jim Hardy. Jim Hardy is a retired teacher and, with his wife Alice, has lived in Pisgah Forest for the last 23 years. Jim is treasurer of the 400-member Facebook club, The Blue Ridge EV Club and speaks around the area on EVs. In 2014, he and his wife purchased their first EV, a 2015 Nissan LEAF. Last year they began driving all electric and now drive a 2021 Tesla Model Y and a 2022 Nissan LEAF Plus. Jim is passionate about educating others on the role EVs play in addressing global warming by reducing the use of fossil fuels and their accompanying greenhouse gases.
